My morning ritual begins with my two Yapping Yorkies needing to get outside for their morning ritual. It's just about the same time the Sun gets up for it's morning ritual. Well, what a treat this morning! Looking up to the sky, checking on the stars, I wondered if I'd see another shooting star. (Had seen one about a week ago and it brought back all sorts of childhood memories plus the opportunity to 'make a wish'.) And WOW... not only a shooting star appeared but what I think was a Comet streaked across the sky with a rainbow tail following it. It lasted only seconds I'm sure but I can still see it. How magical, here in beautiful downtown Deming, New Mexico, my own light show. So for today, I will feel the awe and wonder of this great Universe. I will feel lucky to have those Yapping Yorkies. I will feel glad to be living in Deming, New Mexico. And... I will feel magical. Maybe I'll feel this way tomorrow too!

Well, I finally made it to the most popular place in the town of Deming. It's only about 5 feet wide and 30 feet long. (Not a very big piece of REAL ESTATE, that's what I do, sell REAL ESTATE) But it's well lit and fully stocked with a variety of cold and flu remedies. I met everyone I knew there and it did get a bit close as we were all scouring the shelves to find the right product to ease the many, many symptoms of whatever the new bug is that's going around. And with a two hour waiting posted for prescriptions, I had to come back and guess what??? Met a whole 'nuther round of friends. Hopefully, we weren't exchanging "bugs" and now have to keep going through this process. Anyway, if you can avoid this aisle, I'd suggest it or.... and this is the question of the day.... How do you avoid this aisle? Anyone got a miracle cure for the flu bug? Grandmas remedy? Old Indian medicine man concoctions? Wanna share??
